Hans,

Boy, are your ancestors good at hide and seek!!! I spent Wednesday
researching at the Rock Island County Historical Society (RICHS) and
found this information:

1) St Mary's Cemetery in East Moline, IL 61244
Van Landschoot, Aime A. 27 (I think it's a plot number) 1870-1935
Van Landschoot, Victorine M. 27 1869-1933

Directions to the gravesite:
Burial in row #4 -- South to North -- they are the seven grave site,
according to the cemetery transcriptions from St Mary's.

2) Again, I found only Queen, Sophia and Wm, H. Van Landschoot in the 1860
Rock Island County, IL census as family #317 - Black Hawk Township.
There were no Van Landschoot's (with any spelling form) in the 1850 Rock
Island County, IL census.

3) In the Cabinet File for Black Hawk Township, I found these newspapers
mentioning Wm Van Landschoot...a few are missing and I can not find
duplicates at RICHS so I'll have to check out where duplicates may be found. :
